A zombie is an enemy appearing in all Zombie game modes of the Call of Duty series. They have different nationalities on each map.

Zombies are the remains of humans affected and Re-animated by Element 115. There were various incidents leading up to the creation of zombies. But they were first seen at Excavation Site 64 (during the events of Origins).
